Our Journey So Far
Independence is a fundamental aspiration for all individuals, including those with disabilities.
As a person living with a disability myself, I deeply understand the burning desire to accomplish tasks independently and not rely on others. This sense of autonomy is empowering, yet achieving it often comes with significant challenges.

Living with a disability is costly. Homes need to be designed with accessibility in mind—spacious bathrooms, larger kitchens, and open living areas are essential to ensure comfort and functionality. However, the greatest challenge remains transportation. In South Africa, wheelchair-accessible vehicles are not readily available. While conversions can be made to traditional vehicles, the costs are prohibitively high for most.

These challenges inspired me to seek affordable transport solutions for disabled individuals. This journey led to the creation of the "Enabler," an all-electric, mini wheelchair-accessible vehicle designed to provide freedom and independence. The Enabler is ideal for local errands such as grocery shopping, school drop-offs, visiting the gym, or enjoying a movie outing.
